It seems like there must be a way to save a Google Doc as a PDF within Google Drive, rather than having to download the Doc as a PDF to your computer and then re-upload it to Drive. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!
It's not possible to download a Google Docs document to PDF format and include comments. That's because comments exist outside of the document and can't be printed or included in downloads. If you need to include annotations on your PDF, you would have to create the PDF and add the annotations to it.
For this I'll create it in Google Docs and save as a PDF. I'll then transfer the file as a PDF for the end user. They will then be instructed to open back up in a Google Doc that they can then edit/personalise it. Instead of printing, change the Destination to "Save as PDF." In the page range field, select the pages you want, separated by a comma, for example: 2, 3-6, 14-15, 21.
Hi, I wrote a document of more than 100 pages on Google Documents, but it is divided into sections and I would like to download only certain sections in PDF and not all of them, how can I do it? Going to "file" and then "download" necessarily downloads the entire 100-page document. Thank you for your help!
Open the file you wish to convert to a PDF document. Tap the three button at the top right of the screen. Select Print. Tap share button which located at the top right of the screen, second from right. You'll see that the file is now a PDF document. From here, you can share it directly via another app. Tap Save to Files to save it to your iPhone or iPad as a PDF document.
When I tried to export my document as a pdf file, I can only print out the relevant tab that I am selecting, so does that mean there is no way for me to print all tabs at one go - all tabs under one document?

Open the document in Google Docs and go to File > Download > PDF document. When the download window opens, select the location you want the downloaded file to go to (so you can find it) and make any desired adjustments to the file's name/title.
